Dynamic Structural Yoga Workshops
in beautiful Santa Rosa, CA

Join us for a series of three, 3-day Structural Yoga Workshops with world class Yoga teacher & Yoga Therapist, Nicole DeAvilla, ERYT500, RPYT. RCYT, Master level Yoga Therapist and creator of the 2-Minute Yoga Solution.
Nicole has been on the 800-hour Yoga Therapy Accreditation Committee of the International Association of Yoga Therapists. She has an extensive background in structural yoga and teaching in Yoga Therapy trainings. She will share her dynamic knowledge, experience, research and skills with us.
Many of us are not fully able or confident in spotting misalignment and/or imbalances in our students' postures, or how to guide them into proper alignment when we do. This set of workshops will increase your structural assessment skills and how to use them to help your students have a safer more effective practice. This is a great opportunity for you to hone up on your current skills and learn new ones! For those registered with Yoga Alliance you can earn continuing education credits to meet the YA requirements.
Each workshop will begin with a meditation and asana (yoga posture) practice and we will end each workshop with a meditation practice. Wear comfortable clothes and come prepared to grow your knowledge base and learn a lot of content to help your students and your self!
These workshops are open to Yoga Teachers, Yoga Therapists, Body Workers with a yogic background and students wanting to increase their own working knowledge of safety in their yoga practice.

D ynamic Anatomy, Alignment and Adjustments in Yoga Postures
July 17-19, 2015
7am-6pm
In this first workshop Nicole will help you develop a deeper working knowledge of Anatomy & Physiology in the yoga practice so that your can help your students more easily reap the deeper benefits of their asana practice while reducing their risk of injuries.
What you will learn:
- Deepen your knowledge of anatomy, alignment and adjustments in standing postures, forward bends, back bends, side bends and twists, seated postures and lying postures.
- Increase your skills and confidence in spotting misalignments and making hands on adjustments

Working with Common Issues of the Hips, Knees & Feet

Join us for this second workshop to deepen your knowledge of common issues and injuries involving the lower extremities: hips, knees and feet. This knowledge will help you to minimize and even prevent your students from incurring lower extremity injuries in their yoga practice.

- tips, tools and practices to create a stable base of the lower extremities
- how to correct foot alignment to improve overall posture
- how to use anatomical knowledge to help align your students' lower extremities
